About

The Snow Skiers Country Club is a non profit co-operative and this website is provided for the use of our private members. We do welcome your interest in our club but request that you send an email to the club administration should you require more information. Your request should then be handled in a few days.

Our Ski club offers the chance for members, their families and friends to gather in a cosy lakeside home and enjoy a wonderful combination of water and Aussie snowy mountain views!

Situated 918m above sea level, we are just a short stroll to the Jindabyne Pub, shops and many and varied restaurants and bars so you should find plenty of activities to keep you occupied when visiting this family friendly club.

History

The ski lodge began in 1981 with a group of dedicated skiers. They spent many weekends transforming an ex-snowy mountains scheme house into a functional house, which now has 16 bunk beds in three rooms. There are a number of bathrooms and a lovely lounge / dining room with open fireplace. The kitchen is large enough so that two families can cook simultaneously.

Fully ducted air conditioning ensures that the lodge remains at a comfortable temperature and the drying room at the rear of the building is very efficient. There are wonderful views across Lake Jindabyne from the lounge/ dining and kitchen. The lodge is only a short walk from the shops, cinema and bus stop outside the Information Centre. There is a cycle path / walkway across the street which follows the lake edge for kilometres.

The committee ensures that the lodge is kept neat and tidy and that running repairs are undertaken routinely. The lodge underwent a full bathroom and laundry rennovation in the summer of 2016/2017 which has raised the level of accomodation substantially. More rennovations are planned. Social functions are held in Sydney during the year to ensure members have the chance to get together so we hope to see you and your friends at one of these functions.
